How do I take care of my tattoo?
You should leave the shop with a bandage. Like any bandage for a cut it is a sterile barrier to protect the tattoo from infection and contain any excess bleeding from others. Remove the bandage after about an hour. wahs with anitbacterial soap. For the first night is a good idea to apply Vitiman A and D oniment to the tattoo after it is washed. Keep it clean and use dry skin lotion. Wash you hands before you apply dry skin lotion to help with infecting you tattoo. Dont scratch it, pick at it, slap it, epose it to the sun, or soak in water.

How long does it take?
It depends on your tattoo. Size, detail and the area being tattooed determine the amount of time it takes to complete a tattoo.
Does it hurt?
Hurt depends on individual tolerance for pain. Feeling the pain is also a reminder that you are healthy and have a good nervous system after all you are puncturing the skin with needles. To help reduce the pain the best thing is to try to relax your mind and not to focus on the pain itself.

This depends on individual tolerance for pain. Ive heard that areas that arent exposed to the sun or other things such as the ribs are more painful than the arms but everyone has a different opinion on where they were the most sensitive.
Is tattooing safe?
Single use needles, and autoclave sterilized equipment is a must. The shop, work area, and procedures practiced before during and after the tattooing ensure the lowest possible risk of infection and contamination. The Tatau is a open wound and should be treated as such even after you leave that shop.
