Internet Explorer 9 beta is available for download today from this site:

This means that a final release of Internet Explorer 9 shouldn't be to far away.

Prior to toay's beta release, an Internet Explorer 9 ( ie9 ) preview was available for download.

Internet Explorer 9 is a big project from Microsoft to make internet explorer more compliant to web standards, including support of CSS3 and HTML5. 

Internet Explorer has lost it's market share to competing web browsers such as Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Opera.
